  • Your pokemon are safe - they are never actually traded or deleted from your game. Happiness is not reset.
  • When you connect to the fake GTS, your IP is saved for 24 hours to allow the script to find which pokemon you sent. During this delay, you can create an account and claim these pokemon as your own to reuse or delete them later. After this delay, the IP address is deleted but the pokemon is kept in the public database. To avoid cloning only claimed pokemon can be exported to .pkm

How to use Pokécheck

Pokécheck is compatible with all generation 4 and 5 games

Step 1. Set your primary DNS server to the address at the top of this page in the WFC settings.
Make sure to change the settings for the correct connection (under advanced settings if using WPA) and hit "Save Settings".

Step 2. Make a deposit request for the Pokémon you want to check. When asked for what Pokémon you're looking for, enter anything.
When you confirm the offer, the game will tell you your Pokémon can't be traded (but it has been recorded on Pokécheck).
If for any reason your Pokémon is accepted, you are on the official GTS and you didn't follow step one correctly, make sure
you're setting up the right connection (check advanced settings if using WPA). This script can tell you if your ISP is blocking Pokécheck.

In generation 5, you should get error code 13266, if you get error 13267 instead please read the FAQ.
Repeat step 2 for every Pokémon you want to check. You can send as many as you want in one session.



Step 3. Check back this page to see the stats of your Pokémon.
You must connect with the same connection (i.e. IP address) as your DS for the script to find which Pokémon you sent.
If your Pokémon doesn't show up try accessing Pokécheck directly from your DS using the built-in DSi browser,
or create a Pokécheck account and see below how to register your save file.

How to send a Pokémon to your game

A Pokécheck account is required to download. Use the Queue for download, Queue for transfer and Clone on GTS buttons
to select the Pokémon to send to your game. As soon as you enter the GTS, you will receive the first Pokémon
in your download queue. To get the following ones, start a search for anything on generation 5 or reconnect.

How to register your save file

If you can't see the Pokémon you deposited or don't get your queued Pokémon, in most cases registering your save file will fix the problem.
Furthermore, claiming is no longer needed and you can protect your OT or clone your own Pokémon (with restrictions detailed in the FAQ).
Start a GTS search for any Patrat (generation 5), Pidgey or Bidoof (generation 4). You will get one result, copy down its 10-digit nickname
and 7 hexadecimal digit O.T. name and fill the registration form in your account options to complete registration.
